Dr. Monica Hayes
I am a consultant in education, health, and mental health. Since arriving in Tallahassee from the Northeast in 2001, I have served in several leadership positions, serving as the first Director of the Office of Equity and Access (DOE), Director of Operations for Bond Community Health Center, Inc, and the Deputy Director of the Florida Office of Minority Health to name a few.
I practice holistic remedies with Aromatherapy. I specialize in creating custom blends to suit a variety of ailments. I'm certified in aromatherapy, teaching aromatherapy, and as mental health first aid instructor. I have a solid reputation as an accomplished public speaker with a wide array of experiences presenting to audiences large and small on a range of topics including K-20 issues in education, closing the achievement gap, and cultural and linguistic competency. As a result of years of reading and research, I enjoy presenting and or facilitating discussions on topics relating to sensuality and sexuality. I am a published author of three books, being Pure Pleasure: A Collection of Erotic Interludes; Tell Me How You Like It (Cause I Want to Please You); and Your Mind, My Playground.
